Just one month before the world gathers for the pinnacle of phygital sport, the Games of the Future 2025 continues to build excitement with three new iconic game titles confirmed, elevating the innovation, global talent, and competitive energy heading to Abu Dhabi this December.
- Just Dance, the world’s most popular dance game franchise, steps into the spotlight as the official title for Phygital Dancing, blending rhythm, stamina, choreography, and live performance in one of GOTF’s most expressive and visually explosive disciplines.
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the mobile Multiplayer Online Battle Arena phenomenon played by millions worldwide, joins the MOBA Mobile discipline, bringing rapid-fire strategy, coordination, and tactical brilliance to the tournament.
- HADO completes the roster, serving as the core of the virtual reality (VR) gaming competition. As a pioneering augmented reality (AR) experience, HADO integrates real-world body movements with digital game scenarios through wearable AR technology. Players do not use controllers; instead, they directly “control” virtual skills with their physical movements—running, dodging, and aiming in the real world—with every action directly impacting the in-game situation and instantly reflected visually. HADO promises to deliver a fast-paced, visually stunning VR competitive experience.
Beyond the competition floor, GOTF 2025 will reach more fans than ever thanks to a powerful network of global streaming partners. Sportworld will deliver free coverage to more than 200 countries, while Huya and SOOP bring the Games to millions across China, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. Huya will deliver both live and non-live coverage while SOOP will provide coverage and produce dedicated national broadcasts of the Battle of Robots and Phygital Fighting.FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves disciplines.
StarTimes and TV BRICS will expand access across Africa, joining the already announced Ei Nerd and BIGG, ensuring that audiences around the world can experience every moment of the action.
“Making the Games of the Future accessible to fans worldwide is at the heart of what we do,” added Hatt. “Through our partnerships with some of the world’s leading streaming platforms, we’re ensuring that audiences everywhere – from Europe to Asia to Africa and Europe to LATAM – can experience the energy, innovation, and emotion of GOTF 2025. This is a global event, and now it has a truly global stage.”
While most disciplines will take place from the 18-23, the first tech competition, MOBA PC.Dota 2 will start ahead of time on the 14 of December.
