The Games of the Future 2025 is set to ignite the global sports calendar with a high-octane lineup of phygital disciplines lined up for this year’s tournament, set to take place in Abu Dhabi from 18-23 December.
With a total prize pool of $5 million on offer, phygital clubs and athletes from all across the world will be fighting for their right to be champions of the discipline they’re participating in.
The Games of the Future is the pinnacle of the phygital sports calendar, and every element of the tournament is curated to engage both physical and digital audiences. The 11 disciplines that will be competed at the event are:
- Phygital Football ($600,000 prize pool)
- Phygital Basketball ($400,000 prize pool)
- Phygital Fighting.MMA ($500,000 prize pool)
- Phygital Dancing ($50,000 prize pool)
- Phygital Shooter 5-on-5 ( $150,000 prize pool)
- Battle Royale ($700,000 prize pool)
- MOBA PC ($1,000,000 prize pool)
- MOBA Mobile ($900,000 prize pool)
- Drone Racing ($250,000 prize pool)
- VR Game ($50,000 prize pool)
- Battle of Robots ($400,000 prize pool)
To be at the top of these disciplines requires a new class of athlete – combining physical prowess and digital dexterity, performing under intense pressure in a ground-breaking and exciting new event format that will attract fans of all ages.

In partnership with ASPIRE, the local delivery authority, and Ethara, the official Event Delivery Partner, ADNEC will transform into a futuristic arena from 18 – 23 December – custom-designed for phygital sports, backed by the infrastructure and operational prowess that positions Abu Dhabi as a global nexus for sport, tech, culture and innovation.
