Wrapping up the World Phygital Summit 2025 in Dubai

Wrapping up the World Phygital Summit 2025 in Dubai

The World Phygital Summit 2025 has wrapped up in Dubai. The two-day event brought together phygital supporters from across the globe to connect, share ideas, and help shape the future of phygital sport. Hosted in partnership with the World Phygital Community, the summit featured an exciting lineup of expert sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

René Fasel, Founder of Phygital International, and CEO Nis Hatt addressed attendees, celebrating the growing global participation in phygital sport. We also heard directly from phygital organizations worldwide about their efforts to drive the movement forward and expand its reach.

One of the standout moments was the panel discussion, “Next-Gen Sports: The Power of the Phygital Era,” featuring influential voices including Vlad Marinescu, President of Sport Media House and former President of the Esports Federation; Ahmed Al Zarouni, CEO of a leading tech firm; Andrew Oram, Founder of Acachet; and Vladimir Burdun, CEO of Emirates Sports Group. This session spotlighted how technology, sport, and innovation are converging to shape a dynamic future for sports.

We were also honored to welcome HE Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports of the United Arab Emirates, who shared insights into the UAE’s vision for phygital sports ahead of the upcoming GOTF 2025 in Abu Dhabi.

Another highlight came from three-time Olympic gold medalist, Stephanie Rice, Commercial Director at Phygital International, who delivered key Sponsorship Insights on the critical role of partnerships in scaling phygital sport globally.

Our thanks to all those who were able to join us and we look forward to continuing to fuel the global phygital movement together.
