Phygital International has named the recipients of four direct slots for the Games of the Future 2026 (GOTF 2026), the world’s premier phygital sport competition, combining digital and physical competition across multiple disciplines.
The slots recognize competitors who have demonstrated not only excellence in competition, but who have also contributed to the growth of phygital sport within their communities and beyond.
The selected competitors are:
- Phygital Football: FC 10 (ADCS)
- Phygital Basketball: Flow Game Basketball (Asociación de Deportes Electrónicos y Videojuegos de Argentina)
- Phygital Dancing: Umutcan Tütüncü (Esports Edutech Türkiye)
- MOBA PC: GLYPH (Phygital Sport LLC)
The selection process formed part of the World Phygital Community (WPC) Incentive Program, which gives Gold Members the opportunity to nominate clubs and athletes for direct entry to the Games of the Future. PI evaluated candidates using a weighted scoring system that assessed competitive performance, audience reach, and overall promotional impact.
John Hewitt, International Marketing & Communications Director at Phygital International said: “As phygital sport continues to grow around the world, we’re seeing increasingly strong talent emerge across every discipline. The recipients of this year’s slots represent some of the most exciting and influential competitors in the ecosystem today, and we look forward to seeing them compete in Astana.”
The four new entrants will join more than 800 participants from over 50 countries at the Games of the Future 2026 in Astana, Kazakhstan, this summer. Taking place from 29 July to 9 August, clubs and athletes will be competing across eight disciplines for a prize pool of more than US$4 million.
