Just Dance returns as official title for Phygital Dancing

Phygital International has confirmed the return of Just Dance as the official title for Phygital Dancing at the Games of the Future 2026.

The competition will run from 6-7 August at Barys Arena in Astana. Athletes will go head-to-head for a US$75,000 prize pool in a format that demands both digital accuracy and physical performance, and which blends music, movement, and gameplay into a high-energy spectator experience.

As one of the most renowned dance titles in the world, Just Dance has built a global community of millions of casual fans, competitive players and content creators.

With just under two months to go until GOTF 2026, the names of some of those taking part have been revealed. They include Mokonanye Angelo, Franco Vitali from, Dion Visser and Daniil Charapko – who all sealed their spots through the 2025/26 WPC season rankings.

Six competitors were decided at Phygital Contenders Astana 2026, which ran from 10-14 June in Astana, Kazakhstan. Andres Guardo, Sagdi, Susan Huertas, Sergio Mayta, Viagonce, who is a runner-up of the Games of the Future Abu-Dhabi 2025, and Lala Gevorgyan secured qualification for GOTF 2026.

Just Dance joins seven other key game titles including – 3on3 Freestyle, Counter-Strike 2, Fatal Fury and Dota 2 – at the Games of the Future 2026, which will bring together more than 800 participants from over 50 nationalities and welcoming over 100,000 fans to Astana.

Adding to the atmosphere, Comic Con Astana (5-9 August) will run alongside GOTF 2026, bringing gaming, pop culture and digital entertainment
communities together and making Astana the destination of the summer.
