Phygital International has revealed the first edition of its new ezine – an online magazine aimed at informing governments, sporting associations and education institutions about the rapidly growing world of phygital sport.
John Hewitt, International Marketing and Communications Director for PI, says the aim of Phygital International Ezine is to introduce phygital to policymakers around the globe and explain how phygital can help support their education and health goals.
“In the first issue we show how using phygital in schools can build better online citizens and encourage physical activity among young people,” he says. “There are articles on our flagship tournament, the Games of the Future, and the benefits that staging such a high-profile event can bring to a host city and nation. Plus interviews, opinion, analysis and the latest news updates.
“We want this ezine to be both interesting and informative to those in positions of influence who may not know about the world of esports. But they are responsible for meeting public health targets and may not realise the advantages that combining esports with regular physical exercise can bring.”
The Phygital International Ezine will be published on a regular basis and feature news and articles not just about PI itself, but other phygital initiatives around the world and developments in the worlds of esports and physical sport.
