Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has been confirmed as the official title for MOBA Mobile at the Games of the Future 2026 in Astana.
As one of the world’s most played and watched mobile esports titles, MLBB brings a mature competitive esports structure, a highly engaged international audience, and a proven publisher ecosystem to the Games of the Future. With more than one billion downloads worldwide, the title has become a major force within mobile esports and continues to attract large-scale audiences across both regional and international competitions.
The discipline will bring together sixteen teams invited by the Games of the Future, featuring a mix of returning competitors from GOTF 2025 and new challengers making their Games of the Future debut. The lineup reflects the tournament’s growing reach across the global MLBB competitive landscape. The sixteen teams set to compete are:
| Bumblebees | Bigetron by Vitality | PRO Esports | Geekay Esports |
| Aurora Gaming | Bushido Wildcats | Team Spirit | FUT Esports |
| Alpha7 | Entity7 | DFYG | The MongolZ |
| Team Falcons | Team Vamos | ONIC | Selangor Red Giants |
The MOBA Mobile discipline will take place from 6-9 August at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace in Astana, where a total prize pool of US$900,000 will be on the line.
The return of MLBB follows its successful performance at the Games of the Future 2025 in Abu Dhabi, where MOBA disciplines were among the strongest-performing competitions at the event — accounting for 45 percent of total tournament viewership.
“Bringing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang back to the Games of the Future for 2026 reflects our broader strategy of integrating leading esports titles within the phygital format, to expand both the competitive field and global audience of the tournament,” said William Al-Badeesh, Publisher Relations and IP Licensing Lead at Phygital International. “With its fast-paced gameplay, highly engaged community, and proven competitive ecosystem, MLBB is well aligned with our ambition to reshape how international audiences experience sport.”
The Games of the Future 2026 takes place across four venues in Astana from July 29-August 9 and is expected to welcome more than 800 participants from over 50 nationalities, alongside more than 100,000 fans across venues citywide.
