With just one week to go until the Games of the Future 2026 powered by Samruk-Kazyna, final preparations are underway as the Kazakhstani capital prepares to host the world’s premier phygital sporting event.
Over the coming days, Astana is expected to welcome 9,000 international visitors, alongside officials, partners, media, delegates, and athletes from more than 50 nationalities. It will be one of the largest international sporting events in the city’s history.
The Games of the Future Astana 2026 will be supported by more than 1,000 volunteers, who will work to ensure a seamless experience for participants, partners and audiences alike.
Ahead of the tournament, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, reviewed Astana’s readiness, underscoring the national importance of hosting GOTF 2026. During his visit, the Prime Minister inspected competition venues and wider urban infrastructure as final operational preparations entered their final phase.
“For Astana, hosting the Games of the Future 2026 Powered by Samruk-Kazyna is more than just a major sporting event – it is an opportunity to showcase to the world our modern infrastructure, high standards of international event organization, and Kazakhstan’s potential as a premier destination for world-class gatherings,” said Alibek Khasenov, Head of Astana’s Organizing Authority.
Audiences around the world will be able to watch every discipline from the Games of the Future 2026 on Phygital+, Phygital International’s official streaming platform. New flexible subscription options give fans access to live competition, full event coverage, video-on-demand replays and individual match-day viewing.
The Games of the Future 2026 will also be broadcast by leading media partners around the world, including Fox Sports Mexico (Mexico), StarTimes (Africa), BIGG TV (France/Worldwide), ESR TV (USA/Worldwide), Play TV (Brazil), Unbeaten (Australia), BRICS Africa Channel (South Africa/Africa) and QazSport (Kazakhstan), with additional broadcasters to be announced.
Coverage will be further expanded through the official Community Streaming Program, which enables creators to co-stream the Games of the Future across multiple platforms and languages. Free to join, the program provides approved creators with official broadcast access, ready-made content and co-branding assets, and will remain open throughout Games of the Future 2026 and beyond.
